127. Self-Love is Great for your Health!
Love is our greatest source of energy. It makes your heart radiate. It raises you up. Worries melt away and the sun breaks through. People who are in love bubble over with energy, their skin shines, their eyes beam, their heads are constantly in the clouds and they don’t need to eat or drink. Expectant women, who are in love with their child, look great. Their skin looks younger, it has a healthy color and their hair is thicker. Being in love and love itself are total health boosters! What if you fall in love with yourself?! If you do the MIR-Method, you take a step closer to this every day!
“Whoever loves him or herself,
gives something really priceless
when he says, ‘I love you’
to another person.”
– Harrie Jekkers, Dutch comedian, from the song, “I love myself”.
Being in love is the best medicine!
If you are happy with yourself and live your life to the fullest, you will have few problems with your health. You are busy doing what you enjoy each day and you appreciate yourself even when things are difficult. You feel alive! You vibrate with energy and fall asleep at night, satisfied. What do you think this does with your body? The skin rejuvenates itself, you have fresh air in your lungs, your blood is full of healthy oxygen, your arms and legs feel strong because your nerves strengthen themselves and your bones and tendons becomes stronger and stronger. Do you know how I recognize someone who is in love with himself or herself? Their eyes radiate and have little lights in them! They are bursting with energy!
Being in love can be scientifically measured!
There have been scientific studies done about the effects of being in love. The results speak for themselves. It is the strongest medicine there is!
– It increases the flow of blood to your skin.
– It enables the happy hormone (oxytocin) to be produced, which is good for dealing with depression.
– Because of this, your body produces more anandamide, a neurotransmitter for your nervous system, which is necessary for coping with pain.
– Your body produces more hormones for dealing with depression, such as dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin.
– It stimulates your memory.
– It increases fertility.
– It quiets feelings of hunger.
In other words, self-love is great for your health!
What does the MIR-Method do with self-love?
Everything! The MIR-Method is totally directed towards you feeling love for yourself. That you see what a fine person you are. That you do your best to live every day, with all that comes your way. That while you’ve known many setbacks, you persevere in spite of them and try to learn as much as possible. That you are kind to others. And above all, that you are kind to yourself. You begin to appreciate yourself more, you see better where you belong, which people are suited to you and which aren’t, and you begin to get more and more grip on what makes you happy, what makes you radiate!
Step 1: ‘Optimize acidity’ is almost unnecessary when you are in love. Your body will regulate the level of acidity all by itself because of the strong energy of love! If you’re not in love yet, work through step 1 to balance your acidity, which stimulates step 2, the big clean!
Step 2: ‘Detox all toxicity’ helps you with this. You remove the waste products from your body but you also cleanse the energy of your surroundings. Some people disappear from your life and others come instead, people who react to your “clean” energy.
Step 3: ‘Detach father. Detach mother’ ensures that you are no longer subconsciously dependent on your parents’ love, but that you can go on without their love and support as well. It makes you more independent and more stable. You can stand behind the steps you want to take in your life.
Step 4: ‘Clear meridians’ provides freely flowing meridians which raises your energy level. The freer they flow, the more you will be able to love yourself. Simply because you’ll have the energy for it! Being in love with yourself ensures that your cells become full of energy and function much better.
Nutrients begin to be absorbed better. You do this as well by doing step 5: ‘Supplement all shortages’. Your cells open themselves up more and more, through which you absorb more nutrients. You get more energy from your nutrition, increasing your ability to fall in love with yourself. Moreover, your body can produce new substances thanks to the building blocks you provide. Read about this in the article, “Production Resumes”.
Your hormone system gets a boost when you’re in love. If you do the MIR-Method, you work layer for layer on freeing this boost of love. You do this via step 6: ‘Balance hormone system’. It enables your hormone system to find its balance again, and in addition, for health-promoting hormones to be produced! In this manner, even hormonal problems, such as thyroid problems, disappear!
Step 7: ‘Fulfill basic needs’ ensures that everything you did not get enough of as a child (no matter how hard your parents tried to do their best), can still be fulfilled. You begin to feel appreciation for yourself, you give yourself recognition and you begin to love yourself more and more.
The main role this time in step 8: ‘Optimize chakras and aura’, is played this time by the heart chakra. When you are doing the MIR-Method, you are freeing every chakra in your body, including the heart chakra. The better it functions, the more contact you have with the source of love within yourself. The love you feel for yourself and for your life causes it to overflow towards others. Happiness and vibrancy are reflected in your eyes! You become a magnet for others and infect others with your love energy. Party time!
Step 9: ‘Clarify mission’ makes ever clearer to you what you want in life. You begin to feel and see more strongly what you don’t want. You get new chances such as a change of work and new people around you. The happier you are with yourself, the more clarity you have about your mission. What do you want to put in place, to achieve in life? The more you love yourself, the more you will see what you’d like to do and that you are more than worth it!
What are you happy about in yourself?
The greatest trick in life is following your heart. Doing what makes you happy. That you search for love. In others, but especially in yourself. That you appreciate who you are. That you can embrace your “own niceties”. That you are happy with your body, with your appearance. That you feel completely accepted. That you forgive yourself. That you can laugh at yourself. That you’re in motion. That you enjoy relaxing. That you say “no” to people who cost you energy. That you say “yes” to people who give you energy. That you have people around you who challenge and stimulate you. That you wear the clothes you like and that make you happy. That you only spend your money on things that make you intensely happy! That you can enjoy the small things, such as the fresh scent of the forest or the first strawberries you taste in the spring. In short, there is a lot in which to be in love with yourself!
And how about you? Have you noticed that you increasingly appreciate yourself by doing the MIR-Method? I’d love to hear about it! And maybe you’d like to write down what you like about yourself, so others might recognize themselves in it. Please write about it below. Thank you!
You should always ask a MIR-Method coach about personal questions!
Give yourself an extra hug and wink at yourself in the mirror! My wish for you is that you will appreciate yourself more and more!

I enjoyed reading this article very much – and feeling how my molecules responded to the words as I was reading them – so thank you very much!
I had written before to say that the Russian word for peace – mir is pronounced meer, not mur (referring to your video).
But apart from that, wonderful what you are offering to the world, THANK YOU!
I have done the method for 4 weeks. I am impressed with the combination of phrases and their effectiveness to cover the whole range of human experience, physical and metaphysical. After reading this article, I realize a lot of changes have manifested that I am only now becoming aware of. Truly a brilliant process! Thank you so much.
Dear Hoyt,
Thank you for your recognition of the MIR-Method. It was constructed by use of muscle testing. That is probably why the phrases are so complete. The subconscious knows!
If you would like to share any of the changes, you’re very welcome!
Greetings and may it bring you further good!
