79. Itching, Eczema and Your Intestines
Itching drives you crazy! Having pain is better. When I have to itch because of a mosquito bite it’s bad enough, but people with eczema often have enormous itching. Their skin has red blotches, is scaly and often has bumps and blisters. Sometimes their whole body is covered with it, other times only certain parts of it. Eczema can often be found in folds of the skin such as behind the knees and on the inside of the elbows.
What is eczema?
Eczema is the collective name for a large number of various skin conditions, which have little to do with each other. The cause of most forms of eczema is still not clear. Doctors can make the diagnosis and try to find out what the cause is with you. Unfortunately, they often can’t do any more than prescribe salves to ease the itching or salves that are supposed to prevent your skin from further inflammation. Very frustrating for you and for the doctors as well.
Why is eczema so good?
But your body is doing a good thing! Eczema is an inflammatory response of your skin. And an inflammatory response is one of the ways your immune system keeps you healthy. That means that it is a good reaction! The flaking is a signal that your body is working hard to renew the skin. In 4 weeks time it is fully renewed!
It is only so horribly unpleasant and sometimes it takes so long! You would expect the eczema to go away once your immune system is finished with its inflammatory reaction. However, that isn’t always the case and people can suffer for years and years from eczema.
What’s the greatest cause of eczema?
By the creating of an embryo, skin and intestines develop at the same time. Outside our skin, and on the inside, our intestines. At the mouth and the anus, skin and intestines are attached to each other. If your skin is not doing well, then your intestines are not doing well either! In article number 7, I wrote about this already: Skin Problems! How Often do You Poop Per Week? It comes down to this, that if your intestines are not functioning properly and, for example, don’t absorb enough nutrition, your skin will suffer severely because of it.
What should we know about the intestines?
Giulia Enders, a cheerful German medical student, immersed herself in the intestines. She suffered from eczema herself and wanted to know what caused it. She became completely fascinated by the intestines and studied everything about them. With her new knowledge she got completely rid of her own eczema! And she saw how important it is that everyone receives this knowledge. She wrote a great and easy-to-read book that will most certainly provide clarity about the importance of health intestines called ‘Gut: The Inside Story of Our Body’s Most Underrated Organ‘. I can recommend this book because knowledge gives you a handle on your own health!
Giulia is especially inspiring. Watch this short film and see how enthusiastic she is about our fantastic intestines!
What does the MIR-Method do for eczema?
The MIR-Method has an answer for eczema but in another, indirect way.
When you can let go of your old emotions, among others via step 3: Detach father. Detach mother, and step 4: Clear meridians, your intestines will relax more. This improves the way they function.
If you notice from within a feeling of insecurity and stress, then that will have an effect on your intestines. When you do the MIR-Method, you work on your basic sense of security through step 7: Fulfill basic needs and step 8: Optimize chakras and aura. They provide relaxation throughout your entire body, causing your intestines to function better. In addition, lovingly stroking your skin causes you to produce extra hormones (oxytocin), which makes you feel better. It strengthens the contact with yourself, making you more loving for yourself. And being more loving also means that you slowly but surely choose for food that enhances your health. Chips, soda, cookies and fried snacks don’t taste as good and you’ll find that your prefer water, vegetables and, for example, nuts. You don’t have to do much about it, it happens all by itself because it comes from within.
Step 5: Supplement all shortages works on this by making it clear which nutrients are deficient. You might crave raspberries or oranges, when you are deficient in vitamin C. Or you might suddenly crave salt because your body wants to supplement minerals.
As far as that is concerned, it continues to amaze me what needs your body indicates when you do the MIR-Method! And the only thing you need to do is to listen to it!
Always do all 9 steps!
Even though I didn’t mention all of the MIR-Method steps, always do all 9 of them because they cooperate with each other!

Good info. I want to say about how homeopathy helps to control eczema. Eczema is also said to be dermatitis which is an inflammation of skin. Eczema isn\’t generally caused because of a reason or condition, however it is affected by a few variables like genetic and natural elements like contact with compound items, changes in hormones, certain substances and climate changes. Homeopathy treatment for Eczema utilizes all encompassing treatment and controls it successfully.
Hi, love this new information. I have eczema on my neck, stomach, lower back and left wrist. Nothing helps. I’m doing NAET allergy testing with my chiro, he discovered my lower intestine is weak. Which is how I found your website. BUT,I have NO problems with constipation. BM’s are normal. I do have lots of emotional issues. Guilt, perfection, anxiety. Will the MIR method still help me?
Dear Lisa,
Yes, you can certainly give it a try. Did you know I started off as an NAET therapist? In that practice I slowly but surely developed the MIR-Method. So go ahead and see what your body wants to heal all by itself!
